Purpose of the STSM: conduct diverse lab and field experiments to test the effects of ozone on the degradation of flower volatiles and plant pollination. The work proposed for this STSM is framed in the context of a work that aims to reveal how high ozone concentrations occurring in urban areas can modify floral volatile blends emitted by flowers and how these modifications can interfere on plant‐pollinator chemical communication. This objective is in line with the objective of my PhD project, which aims to reveal the biotic and abiotic factors that determine and affect the emission rates of volatiles that mediate plant-mutualist interactions.
